stuck
Hi Gent's, Wondering if you can help, I've just wired up my winch (Superwinch EPi 9.5) that I have taken of my broken RRC and put on my 110. Winch has been stood idle for a while and I noticed that when I was trying to pull off the rope (clutch disengaged)it was a bloody struggle. Now when I try to run it I can hear the brake disengaging and the motor trying to turn but the drum won't move. Before it came of the RR it had done very little work and I know I have wired it up correctly (solenoids are still on the winch, not remotely mounted) Any ideas? Thanks, Mick. bishbosh
I would take it apart and make sure everything that should be lubricated is. I would also take a look inside the motor casing to check that it is not all furred up.
dirtydiesel
On my ep9 the brake cam stick quite a lot. if you look at the gearbox end of the winch the end casing it held on with 3 small allen bolts this casing on mine siezes to the brake cam, i normally just take the casing off and emery cloth everthing down inside and put a bit of grease on it.
