old & wrinkly Posted January 22, 2011 Author Share Posted January 22, 2011 Sorry guys. i was not very clear on what i was trying to say ... its the water pump/ alt belt tensioner ! i found the pulley is a two part pressed steel as oppossed to the 300tdi cast steel.. it uses the same bearing but its sealed in ! I carefully ground off the 3 rivet heads parted the pulley and put in a new bearing.. re riveted the two parts back together useing copper rivets and we are up and running ( don,t know how long for ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
