sharpy
Hi all Could i get a few opinions please. What would be the best approach for replacing shocks on a defender with a 2-3 inch lift 1. extended damperss 2. lowered rear and front mounts and standard length dampers The ride in this truck is very hard and there is a lot of feedback from bumps etc on the road at the moment it has standard length shock at the rear and unknown at the front, but they are aftermarket as they are orange and black, turrets at the front look to be standard height also. Any feedback most welcome. Cheers Paul
FridgeFreezer
Lowered mounts gain you height but no flex, I vote longer shocks.
dirtyninety
longer shocks for sure. Not really sure why people fit lowering mounts because its silly to have a spring that tall in there!
