stuck
Hi all, When I bought my 110 (2000 TD5) it suffered from horrible handling and a serious weave if you backed off the throttle or braked hard at anything above 50 MPH. Since then I've changed the suspension to Gwyn's challenge kit with OME springs / dampers all round and also fitted a X-Eng De-Flex ARB (probably wasn't necessary but hey ho) Handling on and off road is massively improved (yes it was worth the cash) but I still get a bit of a shimmy when braking or backing off after being flat out on a motorway, even though they look ok would I be correct in assuming that Radius Arm Bushes are the likely issue? (Radius arms are standard as they aren't in Gwyn's kit) If radius arm bushes are suspected am I better sticking with original as I have trashed Polybush ones in the past (yes they were greased before fitting) Thanks, Mick. Mo Murphy
Mick, Radius arm or trailing arm bushes. I'd recommend Superpro bushes personally but many recommend genuine bushes too. HTH Mo
Disco-Ron
just by reading the title, i was gonna suggest radius arm bushes, i prefer oem, they're designed to last, and in general they do,
