eds
I am doing some modifications to the dash with plywood and want it to be painted black so it blends with the other plastic bits in the cab. Has anyone done this before and knows a good black? I have my eyes on http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp?action=detail&fh_secondid=11348428&fh_view_size=150&fh_start_index=0&fh_location=//catalog01/en_GB&fh_search=black+paint&fh_eds=%C3%9F&fh_refview=search&isSearch=true I am thinking satin black multi surface paint by fortress check the link out above..... Has anyone any ideas? Thank you
western
reckon satin black would be the best, matt black would look like bodge job. I sprayed the flat centre pad of my steering wheel satin black, it looks better than a matt finish.
potato head
Why not cover it with a grained vinyl? I have just made a centre console (mudstuff style) and it looks a whole lot better than a painted finish and it also matches the centre console that I made before Christmas
