PieEater3142 Posted April 5, 2011 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Hey all, SO I have a td5 bulkhead, with a 200tdi engine. I am planning on putting an eberspacher deisel heater in but want to know if I can put a td5 heater box and matrix in or whether I need to stick with the 200tdi matrix and heater box? Anyone know the difference between them? I think the angle of the heater matrix pipes differ but I can deal with that. Is the mounting, size, controls, etc different? Maverik Posted April 5, 2011 Share Posted April 5, 2011 I have the same setup as you. and had a old heater matrix/box then put the TD5 one back in. they are both pretty much the same size and shape. the later heater matrixn (alu one) had a slight different mechanism for fitting into the box, but they are all intercompatible with the bulkhead. you might fid also the flap control cable fitting is slightly different too but easily fixable.
