TheBeastie
Next issue - drained oil and changed filter last weekend. 5l new oil seemed to fill it to the line on the dipstick. Have now run the engine a while over the week and it is still sitting neatly on the N line. My book says it should take 6.75l including oil filter. Oil pressure light quite normal. Any ideas> Thanks Malcy
Disco-Ron
Did you drain down the oil cooler in the rad...??? and also, when i recently had to fit another sump, i was amazed to find that there was still about 3/4 inch of oil in the bottom, even after it had stopped dripping..! Mo Murphy
That's assuming that your dipstick is in the correct position. The dipstick tube is known to move on the 200s. Western did publish the correct length for it on here, you'll need to do a search and find the measurement. HTH Mo
