Anglo-Frenchman Posted July 19, 2006 Share Posted July 19, 2006 I'm in the process of replacing the centre consol in the CSW and fitting one from those nice folk at Storage Solutions to accommodate the CD player. I'd like to run the wiring for power and speakers under the carpet along the transmission tunnel from the fuse board but have concerns about the effect that the heat from the gearbox etc might have on it and wonder if anyone has thoughts on this. western Posted July 19, 2006 Share Posted July 19, 2006 Shouldn't cause any problems as when your moving the airflow will take away excess heat, a lot of my wiring for some of my ham radio's is in the same place, hasn't caused me any problems.
