western Posted June 17, 2011 Share Posted June 17, 2011 there isn't a transfer box on a freelander, I believe your refering to the IRD [intermediate Reduction Drive] unit this needs 1.1 litre or 2 pints Texaco S5 75W90 to Sspec API GL5. also have a look at this link http://landroveroneten.com/index.php/general/land-rover-manuals/ you will find the LR RAVE manuals you can download.
