hissing sid
Hi everyone, I am the proud owner of my second Freelander, a 2001 TD4S Auto fitted with standard steel wheels. What I would like to know is? What size wheels 2 will fit my vehicle? Can I go up to 17 or 18inch diameter without them rubbing against the bodywork? Will Mark 2 wheels fit? and has anyone got any For Sale? I know the Freelander is ridiculed by other Land Rover aficionados, but as far as I am concerned I think Freelanders are the Dogs B....cks. LR NUT
18 inch freelander sport wheels from the late freelander 4A chassis (06/56 plate) will fit without any problem. However Freelander 2 has a different off set / pcd so they wont bolt on. Im not sure what the largest size of wheels that will fit onto a freelander without any suspension mods etc. If anyone has some pictures it would be great to see. RJF
Just to add... You'll need wheels from a 2001 or later Freelander as earlier alloys will not fit. Rob.
