Paul Humphreys
I am thinking of trying fit some Landcruser axles to my 110. The reason is they are stronger and come with difflocks. I have heard of people fitting the diffs, but I am thinking of moving the whole axles over. My questions is has anyone done this? If so what are the problems? What’s the diff gearing like? Are the diffs in the right line for the props? I know I will have to have props made up so that not a problem, but what the a-frame and steering linkage? Ex Member
You shouldn;t need propshafts. Hust have the pinion flanges modified. As I understand it, you just need to fabricate all of the suspension linkage points. "Maggott4x4" in Aussyland has recently done this. Read here at Outerlimits.
