Stevie D Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 My neighbours late 300 series v8 needed a new regulator on the d/s as the old one had fell apart, he got a new one and installed but has a problem getting the window to fuction correctly again. Can anybody suggest the corect install procedure? Is there a particular place where the 'quadrant' needs to be etc. We're assuming the control limit switches are in the motor or does it rely upon current or something through the ecu to stop etc? When he has it installed it goes down fine, but stalls halfway back up again. Window will push up manually so aparently not jamming in the guides. regulator will cycle all the way when removed from the door and window assy. Any ideas gratefully recieved.
