muddy
As it says really, bit of a lazy post as i havnt actually had the dash in bits yet but i wondered if someone had come accross this before. The brake fluid res is plenty full and i dont think it had a handbrake warning light on it. Both lights come on with the ign and are on all the time at the same brightness dimness. All the indicators seem to work fine although it did blow the stop light/dash light/idicator fuse a few weeks ago with a trailer on (trailer is fine behind my 300 90 and a navara). So, any ideas? (short of insulting tape and or removing the bulbs )
rovernut
Check the towing electrics, particularly the socket. I am told that the Towbar electrics come into the MOT next year so it won't be time wasted checking it out.
western
low fluid level & park brake warning lights are one & the same light, a exclamation mark in a circle, so when fluid level drops it lights or if park brake is on [provided the vehicle has the park brake switch fited] it puts the light on. tralier warning light is green lit trailer icon & should only light up once when vehicle is solo & indicating, it should flash once then stay off, or with a trailer connected it should flash in unison with the vehicles indicator. have a good look at the towing socket wiring, perhaps the white earth wire is disconnected or touching where it shouldn't.
