Ben_J85JTY
Hi All, Being a bit frosty this morning I switched on my heated windscreen on the 110, which in itself wasn't anything new. After about 2/3 mins however, I could smell melting plastic, and found that the connections on either side have started to melt. Any idea's as to why this may have started happening? Cheers Ben

Cheers Ben Ben it's possible that over the summer the contacts have become corroded/oxidised when the juice was applied created more resistance in that area, than the connection could cope with, may just be a case of unplugging them and giving them a rub over with some wet and dry hopefully the connectors have not broken down too much. Bowie69
If corroded, a squirt of eletrical contact cleaner and a wiggle could be all it needs, and the contact cleaner should help protect the connection for the future. Any motor factor should have this in stock.
Ben_J85JTY
Cheers, I have a tin of contact cleaner in the garage (Injector loom to ECU plug cleaning!) So I'll give it a go and report back. Ben
