Brake Pedal to the floor after play day...

Morning all, quick questions, after a recent play day at Slab Common I came home with very little brakes, the pedal went to the floor with no resistance and you could only stop by pretty much standing on the brakes!

I'm thinking a full brake bleed - but do we think there is anything more serious lurking??!

Any help much appreciated!

Sounds like to me a classic brake master cylinder failure.

If its anything like a defender master cyclinder (which i think it is)

The master cylinder has a fancy/clever "series" piston setup, when one of the seals fails (bypasses) it leaves the other seal to have to do all the breaking, so you find the pedal goes right to the floor before anything happens... and then it doesn't always do that much at the bottom! I think its the defender workshop manual that has a rather good illustration of the innerds of a typical master cyclinder.
