askiro
i was told a tdci propshaft would fit onto a 300tdi , and that they are stronger than the standard 300tdi prop. does anybody no this to be correct on both counts ?
vulcan bomber
Doubt it because the tdci uses the p38 rear axle so the diff noses are different lengths.
StuPot4x4
Hi, Tdci (puma) 90 will fit, i've got them on mine, it's a straight swap. 110 not sure, front will but the back might not because of the short diff nose of the p38 diff. askiro
so a rear will fit on a 90 also ? is it correct the yokes are wider so it helps with binding on a lifted vehicle. Rob
StuPot4x4
Yep, front and rear on a 90 will fit. The yokes seem slightly wider and bigger than the old type props. Stuart.
askiro
Thanks Stuart, will try props to get rid of the dreaded vibration on lifted defenders.
askiro
Just to update any interested parties , i have fitted the Puma 90 TDCI REAR propshaft to my 300tdi 90 today, and the vibration has vanished. Would highly recommend this to anyone who has suffered minor vibration like myself. Rob
