willfromsussex Posted January 19, 2012 Share Posted January 19, 2012 Since building up my vehicle I've had the first mechanical problem, the fuel filter blocking up, mostly with water it seems. How are these tanks vented? I only remember seeing one vent pipe which goes to the neck , presumably to let gasses escape while you are refeulling, is the cap vented? Is there a known issue with water getting in the filler neck seal? THe cap assembly is almost new and shuts tightly. Gratuitous pic of my car.
