theoptimist
Hi guys, I'm going to be buying a 110 high capacity, Is it possible to mounts a reciver hitch on, i think the height with it may be to high for the majority of trailers, however I have found lots of ways around this with the different attachments. The reciever hitch would allow me to better ground clearence at the back as currently it has the standard hitch which gives limited ground clearence. The other thing i would like to find out is where is a good website for the fiber glass canopies, or is it possible to get a quadtec box to fit? thanks guys Seb
Guest
I don't see why it wouldn't fit the issue you would have is around the distance between the receiver hitch and where the actual hitch would fit. The other issue you would have is that currently no defender receiver hitches are CE approved!! Jason.
honitonhobbit
"all vehicles first registered on or after 01/08/1998 require a type approved 94/20 EC towbar" So yer man's Hi-Cap being a 94/95 reg is fine legally However structurally it would need to be a damned fine bit of fabrication
