dasterdly Posted August 22, 2006 Share Posted August 22, 2006 evening, i am trying to find some information on my recently aquired racal 543 aerial tuning unit. i have it bolted inside the atu box, complete with the newer aerial mount ( part number 5985-99-744-3409 ) and aerial, now all i need to do is power it up. the unit is for recieving only, so no need to worry about microphones etc i am assuming that it would be 24 volts, but i wish to use it on my standard 12v defender, any solutions ? isk1 is a 7 pin affair, with isk2 being a bnc connector, and isk3,also a bnc connector i read somewhere that there is a adaptor which sits between the standard mil radio's and the atu, but i wish to connect my non military reciever direct to the tuning unit. manuals/ifo/pinouts/part numbers/pics etc would be great. cheers...
