Side window replacement

As above, how's the best way to go about it? It's the "boot" passenger side. Got angle grinder dust damage

I assume it's remove inner seal, remove glass, fit new glass, refit seal. Do I need to use any sealing compound?

Cheers :P

Hi Rob.

I thought that the seal was all in one piece. Its probably best done with two people. One outside to catch it, but if you are replacing it anyway I supose thats not too crucial. Its a bit like taking a windscreen out I think, just steady pressure in 1 corner I think until it starts to move over the seal and then work around. I know what you mean about grinding dust damage, I have done that to my upper tailgate glass!

I'll be interested in how you get on, as I need to take my drivers boot side out to do a bit of welding in the area. Good luck.
