streaky
I disconnected the battery on the DI for a few days to do some welding but when we reconnected the battery I can't get the central locking to work. I have two 2 button fobs and have no reason to suspect both FOB batteries went dead within days of each other since I normally only use one of them. How can I get things back to normal. My car has never had an alarm fitted so it can't be a spider issue. Thx.
teabag
Press the lock button on the fob 4 times to synchronize to fob to the system, the the info is in the owners handbook.
streaky
Thx TB.....I tried that already but it didn't work. There's some talk of ignition on, press 4 times, turn ignition off, press 4 times, run around the house with a bread basket on your head etc etc....the last time this happened I just left it & within a week or so it started working again without me knowing what i'd done! Cheers.
streaky
What do you know...it was the batteries that had both gone dead within 12 months or so of use. Thx for the replies...next time I'll be better prepared!
