chris200100
I'm in the middle of re-wiring my 110 (84 with a 300tdi) and the looms have seen better days. I got a bulkhead loom that I picked up ages ago and has some issues with it that I didn't notice at the time, my main worry is the engine plug that conects to the engine loom. The plug is broken and its the rubber bullet type can this be swapped for an econoseal type as the one one the engine loom has seen better days too. Also there's a thick brown/red wire with a ring connector on it what's that for, checked on the manual I got and can't find it.
western
brown/red is the glow plug feed for non -tdi engines, you can rither use it to feed the glowplug timer relay or remove it & use the 300tdi timer relay loom. PM PaulMc on here he can help/advise on a suitable connector.
UdderlyOffroad
Don't see any problem with using an Econoseal connector pair for the engine loom. That's my plan too!
