UkFoxy
I'm still having problems with my fuel injection pump (300tdi N Reg 1995 Manual) There's a leak on the back of the pump that's covered by a little rubber saucepan (it unbolts) Does anyone have a broken pump that they'll be prepared to sell me that part? I've just bought a replacement pump of evilbay only to find that although it is off an N Reg 300 tdi....it's off an automatic!....More money well spent! Can this auto pump be fitted to my manual disco? Looking forward to some interesting replies! Cheers Foxy
UkFoxy
Have I asked a question that no one knows the answer too?
elbekko
I can't imagine what would be different on the pump between manual and auto except maybe the kickdown cable connection. But definitely wait for a grownup before just fitting it
Ally V8
If you have bought an EDC pump - with just electrical connectors and no speed control arm, then no,its not really any use to you.You could go to loads of effort fitting all the rest of the EDC stuff,(Big job) but the one hurdle that will stop you is providing something for the crankshaft position sensor to read. Stick it back on E Bay and find one from a manual car.
