j1mb0 Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 Hey guys recently found my intercooler (TD5) to be in rather bad condition so I've been looking for a new one. I can't afford the ridiculous price of the larger coolers so i'm looking for a standard replacement...I've found a TDCI Puma intercooler for a nice price second hand and due to the age is in really good condition. Knoxyboy Posted March 3, 2013 Share Posted March 3, 2013 Hi Perhaps a dead thread, but I can confirm the stock TDCi intercooler is a direct fit on the TD5. I just fitted one and the only difference I could see was the mateial used for the end tanks which were both Alloy on my 2001 but one is polycarb on the TDCi. Great solution if you dont want to splurge on a bigger intercooler as the TD5 used ones are mostly pretty shag'd and there are a lot of the stock TDCi ones nocking about as nearly new take offs.
