Marten
My 200 TDi Disco 1 1992 is slowly losing instrument panel illumination as the bulbs fail (21 year life-not bad). Replacements are listed as RTC6579 but they seem to be "no longer available". Does anyone know of a source for these 12v 1.4w push-in bulbs, colour green? I will replace all 13 of them if I can get them. Cheers!
Rangy35
I get them from our local parts outlets.
Nigelw
http://www.brit-car.co.uk/product.php/91562/5497/bulb___holder_grey_disco1 Also available here http://www.johncraddockltd.co.uk/land-rover-discovery/rtc6579-bulb-and-holder-grey.html Craddocks are handy but if you want to replace all 13 of them it will cost you £130 buying with them
Marten
My thanks for the responses. Interesting that Craddock want nearly £10 + Vat for the bulb & holder assy when they are available elsewhere on the net for £2.60p incl Vat. My ever helpful local parts supplier has found the bulbs for £1 each, so that is the route I will take.
JimDay
Have you tried Maplins & the green bulbs in my Disco 1 300 TDi are just a rubber cover over the bulbs
