mudmagnet Posted November 27, 2013 Share Posted November 27, 2013 My N reg disco 300 auto didn't want to start today turned the key and just a click from around the gear lever area then after trying to start it in neutral and park without any success the red key symbol on the dash board came on then after that it started. After I got home I tried to restart it in neutral but it wouldn't start but it would start in park Is this likely to be the inhibitor switch and where abouts on the gearbox is it Any ideas thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Team Idris Posted November 27, 2013 Share Posted November 27, 2013 Not a truck I'm used to, but if its the ZF HP22 like the classic rangy's, then its on the left hand side of the box, where the selector arm and the kick down cable hang about.
