redneck
Hi It's been a while since i was last on here. I went to the dark side with an RB44, but i sold it to fund another project, which is taking longer than anticipated, so I picked up a 110 2.5n/a today to fill the driveway and have something to play with. First impressions are positive, the engine isn't as bad as I was expecting, after reading all the doom and gloom reviews on tinternet, cruises at 65 and even touched the speed limit for a while, its a bit noisy and feels a bit small and delicate after the RB though. I'll stick some pics up and progress as I go along.
redneck
First upgrade, after doing a full service, was to replace the front candles, sometimes known as headlights . Fitted a pair of Wipac crystal reflectors with Phillips lamps, and did the relay with decent size wiring mod while I was there. I can actually see the road ahead now. pete3000
when i had the 2.5n/a i ditched the viscous and put an electric fan on the rad and found it warmed up quicker in the winter and saved a few pennies on the diesel.
