ajh
Just replaced a master cylinder with a Series 3 one (the fitting broke off inside the old one) and it is clearly not 10mm metric/bubble for the fitting; can anyone tell me which fitting I'm looking for as I'd really rather not remove it again to drag it to the shop to match up. Thanks,.
ejparrott
There is an adaptor for the clutch master. Haven't got bits at work with me, but I think it's an M12 fine thread fitting
ajh
This one (TRW) has what looks like a 10mm but has a different thread in it from the 10mm bubble flare tube nuts.
Phil Hancock
S3 clutch pipe adaptor is 3/8"UNF male to screw into the master and 7/16"UNF female for the pipe tube nut to screw into.
ajh
I can confirm the 3/8unf is correct; thanks... I managed to come across the old master earlier and took it along.
