my p38 has a parasitic battery drain.

after settling its a constant 0.53a until i pull maxi fuse 1 when it drops to 0.40a. ive pulled every fuse with no change, have also disconnected alternator and starter.

i dont think its the remote transponder as its constant.

any ideas?

I had the same thing on mine

Turned out to be a wire down by your door under the plastic strip corroded !!

Removed said wire and grafted in new piece

Mine now sleeps at 0.02 amps

No more flat batteries in less than 24hrs

Hope this helps

When you pull the plastic strip you'll be surprised how many wires are in there.

It took me two days to find the offending wire

Feel free to post on here if you have any questions as I check it often during the day

If yours in running on lpg also , unplug the lpg ecu and see what amps you're pulling then

Good luck with finding the fault
