Maverik
Hi folks, I was doing some exhaust work on the 90 yesterday and after I'd finished I started her up from cold, I could hear quite a loud ticking noise, climbed under and pretty much had me ear up to the sump where it was definitely coming from. I moved the truck about 200m and got under again and it seemed to disapear or get quieter. I've not noticed oil light coming on when it shouldn't or delay at all. I think I'be heard this before but not as loud... anyone any advice? Cheers Mav
Nigelw
My buddy Paul has the same problem on his 200Tdi Disco, he is convinced it is the vacuum pump but I have pointed out that the vac pump and oil pump are driven off a spur gear from the cam.
