Nigelw
After the first 500Kms I am still grinning from ear to ear in my Rusty, but niggly problemo. Window wipers seem to have a mind of their own as to where they are going to park in the normal speed setting and can park either at the top or the bottom when in intermittent wipe mode. What has happened? They were working as they should when it went for the safety test.
smallfry
Limit/parking switch in the wiper motor I would guess. I dont know what a Disco one is like, but random parking is a common problem on an Astra G and dead easy to repair if its similar. Loads of info on the net about repairing the Astra, so check it out. Might help ? When I did mine I found it strangely satisfying to do............to repair a sealed for life thing that CAN'T be repaired ! Nigelw
Went googling and am still amazed at how google is better than our own search engine for finding useful threads http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=25170
Nigelw
Right, now I'm confused, why is it that the parking switch does not work on continuous settings but works happily on the intermittent setting?
