I am not a number Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 Remote door lock problem. 1995 300TDi 3 door Discovery... Hi all, I have a problem with my drivers door lock. The key remote operates both lock and unlock. But, when I 'unlock' I have to put the key in the lock afterwards to just turn that fraction more to open the door, otherwise I cant open it. Can anyone offer suggestions on whether this is a wear problem or a set up problem and what the likely repair required is? Also, is this a common fault on Discoverys? Take the other week when my daughter who loves playing with dads keys locked the doors as I was putting her in her car seat. No problem the doors open and I'm still strapping her in; then a car comes up the street so I push the door in slightly. CLICK! Faye press the button again for daddy.
