Roosterrs
Anyone know what size bolts go through the gearbox bell housing into the steel bracket attached to the engine on the LH side of a 300 TDi 90 Defender 1995. I can't find them on the parts list. There are 2 of them. Thanks
Roosterrs
Sorry, brackets are on the lh and rh sides of the engine. 2bolts each side go through bell housing and into these brackets.

Roosterrs
Still struggling with this. The only one that looks close is M10x110 on the bellhousing page. But I think these might be too long. All the others are too short. Manual says 45Nm for the torque.
western
are you able to post a photo of the subject area, as I'm not 100% sure of what bits you want bolts for,
Roosterrs
Picture from manual below. Its the holes next to the 12M2885 on the LH side. I am assuming the bolts on the RH side are the same.
western
looking at my 300tdi manual, I think those 4 holes are only used when a auto gearbox is fitted. the auto drive plate housing has matching holes/bolts, see page 53 in the 300tdi engine, gearbox transfer box overhaul manual. bolts not required for R380 gearbox fitment. adaptor plate for auto box http://www.allbrit.de/UNI.cfm?PAGE=801446&SPRACHE=EN
