gav- Posted November 23, 2006 Share Posted November 23, 2006 i want to make up a tube bender and a bearing/bush press out of one unit. Which is the best way to start? Buy a press and adapt to bend tube (is the ram length long enough) or buy a tube bender and adapt to a press? either way i am getting replacement tube dies anyhow. either machines will be based on a machinemart/sealey type product. any suggestions??? dollythelw Posted November 27, 2006 Share Posted November 27, 2006 no gap at the top - they are just strengthing ribs, we've made a whole heap of press tooling to go in baby press, multi V working with a short press blade or gooseneck, upteen bush drifts and seats and a variety of squashing dies etc for little jobs and shoving in the back of a tech truck its proved to be really handy - nothing for our cars can have just one function so it also comes in handy as a jack HTH Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
