Off roading in or around Sheffield anyone?

Hi all

Ive been up and down the old road up redmires dam in sheffield which i thought was a little too boring

Does anyone else live anywhere locally? if so please post where abouts it is you go

Also,, has anyone for the TOMTOM land rover experience on their satnav?

Join the buxton and district landrover club.Only £20odd quid per year and they organise several greenlaning trips per year around sheffield and the peak district

depends what u r after green lane ? try stocksbridge and ecclesfield I'll give u the names of the lanes if u want them. They r on the explorer maps and on Navman so should be on other gps. Will be trying some UCR's next weekend when I'm off callout

I'm assuming as you quote an unsurfaced right of way that by off-road you mean -off tarmac? As opposed to a pay & play site?

There is a lot out on peaks towards Hope & Castleton but they may have been subjected to TRO's recently. Best getting in touch with a group such as Bux & Distrixt as mentioned or joing GLASS or CRAG.
