Are there many varieties of relay that will to the trick or will only one swap? I saw the tech archive and saw the bosch rely the article revolves around but am unsure whether I have to find this exact one or whether they are in abundece at the srappy........? eds Posted April 25, 2010 Author Share Posted April 25, 2010 Thanks Ralph It sounds like you are suggesting that my defender may already have the variable intermittent function on and I've never realised!! western Posted April 25, 2010 Share Posted April 25, 2010 the first number above is superseded by the AMR2341 relay, on mine it's printed on one face of the relay red cover, it lives behind the fusebox metal plate clipped to the lower edge same as the start & brake check relay's. not sure what year your 110 is, I added the wiring harness & new stalk/relay to my '89 110, link >>> http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=927 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
eds Posted April 25, 2010 Author Share Posted April 25, 2010 Mine has got intermittent as standard already but this is a new thought about having variable intermittent by which you can set the time period of the intermittent by the way you switch the wipers on. Is this what you are also refering to Ralph? Yep, that's what I've got fitted. reckon you probably got the older PRC6864 relay then.IIRC the relays are a direct swap.
