Shackleton
Need to fabricate a two tang clevis hitch for a mower asap but the measurements between the tangs. Does anyone know? Cant get a measurement from the mower because it has the loose type hook up and they're worn and bent. Could anyone oblige with a measure please? I don't know if I need the outer measure or the inner or both? Never hooked one of these up. Thank you please George
simonr
I don't know if there is a 'standard' but on my 110 it's 2 1/8" and on the two forklifts here it's 2". I guess 2" would be a safe bet though. Si
Shackleton
Thanks a mill Si. My local forge seemed to think even one tang was enough but I wasn't sure if he was being economical with my time or telling it how it is I'll just cobble something together. Have to say... very glad I've a NAS spec hitch. Bit of 2" box and some plate and I can throw anything I want in there!
