Don't think mine will ever sound like that being a diesel. Not really fussed about noise as such as the landy already has a straight through exhaust on it. Surprisingly retro even with the lift and tyres it's not too bad on the road. But then I never bought any of my lands for comfort.
I have a 2003 chipped TD5, truck cab, 3 inch lift running 35s used to do easy 80 before the lift and the tyres. Accelerates well just backs off when it gets to 65 ish
Evening all, so I am now part way through my 90 truck cab project, and am now contemplating fitting a stack exhaust, mainly because I think it would look and sound cool. What are peoples thoughts on stack exhausts? Pros, cons, would you do it to your own if you could? Also if anyone has done this, any pics would be great.
Cheers, I only have a gas less mig welder just fir quick fixes of things at the yard, I know a fabricated that will sort it it's just a bit hard to get him to do anything, he like to work flexi time, but very good when you get it back. It was a very cheap tailgate so worth getting it done rite.
Not really sure of the general construction of it, but it's the outer frame that needs welding. I'm guessing its a steel frame and ally skins?? Is that rite?
Will i
Need wheel spacers? Do you remove the mud flaps so the tyres dont catch? They are 16inch boost alloys. So they will fit ok over the disk breaks. ??
As far as i know its a 4.6 se, not looking to make any money on it, just to have to run me around, fuel cost isnt realy a problem as i will just put it through the business. Its just had £1400 spent on the engine teplacin other bits, not sure without reading the paperwork. So hoping that the overheating is a simple cheap fix. Its been serviced every year since new and has always had money spent on what ever needed doing.
Hi all. I have been offered a 2001 p38 vogue for £600 only 58.000 on the clock, problem is, it has an overheating problem, no idea what it could be. Would you say it was worth buying and putting some money into it or leaving well alone?? Cheers Dave.
