  5. general-confusion Will you be trying to kill yourself again this year or are you just going to try and beat your record for holding your breath under water again ? Adee said he's going to get his own back for the great reliability of the truck this year ! Think that means he's not jumping in after you this time Chappers there aint no novice class but its all just good Christmas fun. Oh and usually very Cold Wonder if we get to do the blooming 40 minute drive to wiltasy again this year ? Always look forward to the Santa's Challenge. Nick.
  6. http://www.extreme4x4ltd.co.uk/ They do the Old Scorpion Evolution Kit That you asked about.
  7. I Had a Nice Day. It was nice to see some of the lesser equiped trucks put up better times than the others on the special stage i was marshalling on. Well done everybody.
  8. Only the ones that Clive (Diamond Geezer) kindly posted over to me. I never got any either Mark ! Stuck on my Special Stage all day slowly melting in the Sun. And a little bit too far fuel wise for the lads to pop along and take some pictures this time
  9. Our Sponsors for this year: M.J.A Land Rover Marlow Ropes Winch Solutions Extreme 4x4 Ltd Tradesigns
  10. Great Adrian cant wait for the next one, Must admit all that mud was kind to the drive trains on most peoples trucks.
  11. Always take mine off, stick em in a bucket with some washing up liquid for the night then good old rinse with the hose pipe next day getting all the carp out of them. I wounldn't have thought under tension does the best job Hamish as the carp can't get out between the strands. Oh and never jet wash them as it can damage the rope.
  12. Dunno Mate couldn't see the floor for mud, but i know he's a messy bugger Cheers to the Challenger Team for a most enjoyable weekend. County Station Wagon Rocks Dude. Damage Report was ! 1 x passenger door handle, my fault. 1x Snorkal that needed ripping off anyway 1x Heated front wind Screen, Why Jako threw the winch rope hook at it i'll never know funny though. Drove it home. Ultra reliable truck and Cheers to Jako for a great weekend of off roading driving his truck. I know he dont do forums but i'll say mate you worked dambed hard out there. even gave paul a smile with the last punch of the day on sunday with your best friend the ground anchor. Great seeing everyone and having a good old chuckle with you all. Nick. Picture Links Here And Here

  15. "Luv it's just a week away with the lads off roading"
  16. Hi Dan, the reason why we're staying with the same format as last year mate is that it work well, it's easy and uncomplicated too on the scoring with all our different types of sections and also remember we are still having 1st 2nd & 3rd places in all three categories so it's totally different to the Challenger4x4 Comp. Variety Is The Spice Of Life my friend
  17. A Few More Picture Sent by Lee on his way home.
  18. WoW it that Mr Gadsby's red truck along side of Zoli's ? Bless it's been let out at last

Club Appliction forms avalible from the link below Club Application Forms and can i Just add a little note! Obviously Team Xtremelandy wont be running this years Tail End Challenge with Scorpion Racing no really Cheers Nick
  20. I totally agree with you lee, the tray back scene took the comps to another level but there is always the setting out of the site to take into consideration too ! this to me is very important on the level of technal cality that is needed to complete a punch sections, i.e routes to follow and in's and outs of sections. We can all bash about if we want to but it proves nothing. It's very hard to put the comp scene into classes these days ! You may never have competed before and turn up in a fully blown tray backed, twin giggly pinned, lockers and monster truck tyres with a very expearianced co-driver and enter as a novice or clubman. is this really fare to others ? Another point is Co-Drivers !!!!! I'm not a co-driver but have done it in the past and i'd say with a good experianced technacal fit hard working co-driver you will do well what ever your truck is, again what class do you enter as ?
  21. Cheers Dan look forward to seeing you there and getting in your way as much as we can I was only asking about the scoring as i was qurius
  22. Go for it Dan. Ben about the way the punch scoring is ? Is there 1st 2nd & 3rd Places in each of the classes and an overall winner. Or is it purely just 1st 2nd & 3rd with the most points ?
