I run twin numax batterys in parralel with a Mondeo alternator works a treat never have any problems and it doesn't cost as much as a split charge and you get two battery worth of amps going to all your circuits but still 12 volt =] just a suggestion

Yeah I have same problem the roll cage tubing stops it Im not going to bother with a snorkel for it so Im just gunna leave it with the gap it still gets good air flow most probably not the right thing to do but I will make a proper intake to fit between the wings out of aluminium =]

So if I was to put an inner and outer ring on from original mach 5s how much would I cut off to get them to fit on my 16 inch set any one done it or got any pics as I'm still not 100% as to what I should do cheers Sam

that's definstly a blocked filter or a fuel pump set up wrong maybe wind the turbo up a bit to compensate and you get an increase in power if not then on here some where there is a posting about tweaking the fuel pump read that and put it to how it was in that post then it will be standard and shouldn't smoke =] hope that makes sense cheers Sam

I rang Gary andrews and he said it is possible just weld them on but I was wondering is there any guide or instuctipns on here that shows how to do them I have searched but can't find any thing hmmm

Right I'm after some guidence and hopefully pictures to help me fit bead locks to my Mach 5'S what bead locks shall I get I was thinking Gary Andrews ones has any one got a giude to fitting them or is there other beadlocks you would fit pictures would be great cheers Sam

I was thinking of making the snorkel diameter smaller so it fits through but I don't know weather that will affect the airflow to much ? Any ideas cheers Sam

the gap between the roll cage tubing used to make the wings is too small for the diameter pipe of the south Down do u crush the snorkel and squeeze it through cut the wing tube so it fits or what and no I don't fancy a through cab yet I just don't know wat would be best cheers Sam

Has any one got a southdown snorkel fitted with north offroad challenge wings any ideas or pics would be a great help cheers Sam

What do you think would be a better option as they are both around the same price and I don't really want to stretch to an xp unless they are like a million times better just wanted to know if any one uses the champion motor cheers Sam

i know the lake at tixover is deep as that is where i F*cked my last landy lol was coming over the doors and all up the windscreen but oh well all part of the fun =]

Take a look at the linkage from the lever to the linkage as it is held in Position with split pins which corrode so it most probably is moving as far as it is meant to to engage also some models do have adustment at the top hope this helps cheers Sam

I am biulding a challenge truck 200tdi defender 90 it has a cage on it but my thoughts are that I want to hook the winch rope to the cage so it's easy to get to so really thehook should be on the passenger side so shall I move the snorkel to the drivers side has any one routed the intake that way if so wat route did you take cheers for your help Sam
