Bigger diameter table knocked up for extending rotary table to allow beadlock rings to sit on for drilling
drilled and tapped for little clamps
holes drilled, clearance and tapping holes for m8 cap heads
due to table extension making the divisions hard to see I decided to go with 10 degree divisions due to every 10 degree mark extending higher up allowing me to align them easier, so 36 holes in all, should be ok

disappointed you haven't turned them from solid out of a bit of ship's propshaft you had lying around. .😉
Could have, but I've only got a couple of ships props left, didn't want to waste all that material I would of had to turn of
Could always cast a couple more props............

As a (very) inexperienced welder who is about to have to do door frames, please can you explain what the brazed joints did to make it unpleasant? So I know what's gonna bite my bum...
If your using mig or arc welding the brass will melt and spit at you, also the metal in the rods or wire will not adhere to the brass, which is why you can blank holes with brass or copper and then back fill with mig or arc as it won't stick to the brass or copper
You could tig braze your doors that way your filler rod would adhere to the brass or stop welding as close to the brass joints as you can then fill any remaining gap with a map torch / oxy acetylene and a brazing rod
Hope this helps regards Stephen

Good news for me regarding tyres, I can deform them by leaning on them so should have plenty of flexibility when getting used in anger. Should mention I had let air out of the tyre, could not do the above with rhe swampers

The sticky trep which is the spare in the group of tyres I've just bought has a noticeably soft tread, reminds me of Michelin X1 tyres I used to use on my trials bike years ago. I did'nt realise how much of a difference this would make. The realisation came when I started to load tyres, I did this by rolling them up to the ball on the tow hitch and then rolled the tyre up and in, the sticky did not slip yet the other tyres did and i had to alter my position on the tyre and apply some additional pressure to wheel it into the car. I will eventually get 3 more stickys

Dimple die the wheel holes the other way to mount the wheels back to front?
Won't work, angle of wheel centres will catch brake calipers, that was my first check..

I will do my best. I now do t have halfshafts for reference but I’ll get as many measurements as I can
Drop me a message if you need dimensions

@dangererous doug next time your shed dwelling, see if you can get some measurements on how long the shafts need to be just I don't see any value in cutting 100mm+ spline lengths when they are not required, mainly for the diff lock shafts. Ta very much
