2 door and 4 door A posts are different
Early 2 doors had bolt-apart front sections.
I believe the footwel cheeks changed slightly around the EFi time to mount relays etc, as would have the bulkhead to accommodate the extra cables.
1994 brought the softdash and the dash mounting points changed accordingly.
I think the bulkhead general shape remained roughly the same throughout the lifespan.

ADU4903L apparently superseded ADU4903;

7 available there

I have the panel from mine in front of me at the moment and it has 3x square white bulb holders. They seem to be a PITA to remove though. If push came to shove I can't see it being too hard to whack a couple of LED's in there with a glue gun
What trim panel is it you're looking for? I have a panel from a late (1993/4) non softdash but I'm not sure it's the exact part you're after

happened to me the other month...
stung a bit, stung a hell of a lot more when I tipped neat TCP on it!

Oh, and just to add, that last photo of it parked up is possibly one of the nicest looking things I have ever seen! So much awesome.
-
However Wolfrace did a set of these wheels in 15" size, used to have a set on a early 4 door Schuler.
Might have some photos at home but here's one I stole from the web, not quite the same amount of awesome but same sort of style!

try LRSeries.com
other than that, ebay or ask some kind soul breaking one

They look spot on
She seems to sit more level now too.
3am? that's dedication

Hell yeah
Grats mate, any pics of the finished product?
-
oh dear, I missed the photos!
Yes, sides needed as Bowie69 says. YRM panels don't come cut to length or profile so you'll have to cut them accordingly.
As mentioned, check the rear X-member but you'll be needed a welder to replace that part, not rivets
-
YRM will sell you the complete side cheeks, might not be needed but the "z" mounts almost certainly will.
If you're going to rivet it then get some sealer/adhesive on there too! I used tiger-seal on my RRC boot floor.
I'll get some photos up soon.

shouldn't need different goalposts, I believe the mechanism is the same at the sides of the tailgate. We converted a early 80's RRC from external to internal handle by just changing the lock mechanism a good few years back.
Looking at your photos the goalposts look exactly the same as mine.

This has been covered many, many times on here. Search should yield a few results

Cheers Range Rover Blues, I had wondered if the money would be better spent on improving the engine I own and know was good.
cheers all
-
I think that might be a little out of my price range when it comes to "for sale" time
-
Cheers for the replies,
the question really was, I have to rebuild the bottom end of my late 3.9 engine. Should I convert it to a 4.6 or is the 4.6 not really all that much better for my application than the 3.9 engine?
The Range Rover will be pretty much road use only, probably the odd greenlane etc but no major stuff.
-
I've reached the stage in the CSK build where I need to start thinking about whet to put under the bonnet.
The 3.9 that came out has done about 160K miles.
Sat in the shed I have a 1994 softdash V8 that was rebuilt before I bought it and fitted it to my last Range Rover, a 1991. This is a serpentine engine and I would say it's only done about 15k miles since a total rebuild, it was very very clean inside last time I had the heads off. It would probably need a bottom end rebuild as it ran for a 20 seconds or so upside down when I rolled the RRC.
I had wondered about building a 4.6 engine, either buy buying a complete bottom end or swapping the crank/pistons in the serpentine engine.
What is the likely cost of building a 4.6?
Is there enough gain from building a 4.6 to warrant the cost or would I be better spending the money elsewhere on the engine?
Any other ideas? (other than fitting a non rover V8 or a diesel)
CSK is manual if it makes a difference.

so, got my insurance renewal for the Series 3 in the post from Flux, £320.
Phoned pickles, got a quote for £290. Called Flux back and they did me a quote almost straight away for £275.
I'm not actually planning on insuring it on the renewal date as all it's done for the past 3 months is sit in the garage while I build the CSK. I think that pretty much matches my quote from Flux last year though.

Compomotive XS Alloys, haven't seen them for sale anywhere recently but the magazines used to have one or two advertisers selling them.
Voguese39, Was it a private sale in Derby or from a shop?
-
Very nice, I like the colour

I have tickets to visit Dunsfold on the 18th of June so will see if I can get any photos
-
It's weird looking at your bulkhead/footwell area having just spent a weekend replacing my A-posts and sills, seems like the A-posts on the CSK were fairly unique. There was certainly a lot less of mine left than there is of yours at the A post section
Your C posts/rear "goal posts" look to be in a bit of a state, might be fun when you come to repairing those!
What's the deal with that exhaust manifold on the N/S, has it been welded back together?!
Looks like you're having fun and making good progress either way.
I have seen those footwell panels for sale but it may have been on ebay, if I come across any on my web-travels I will let you know!

I bought all my repair panels from YRM but wasn't aware they did the footwells, they're not listed on the website...
The quality of the YRM parts is fantastic though![:)](//content.invisioncic.com/r226025/emoticons/default_smile.png)
