    These guys have great prices and the shopping basket stays there for ever.

    Just keep adding stuff as you realize you need it. (been adding to mine for over a year...)

    Then eventually get one big ass delivery!

     

  2. So......

     

    I'm building a Defender 110, with a Disco V8/'box, and Series 2 truck cab body. (right hand drive)

    Space is tight to squeeze a radiator between the engine and lights/grille.

    If I ditch the Defender steering box and fit a P38 one to the outside of the chassis I gain heaps of Radiator room.

    Has it been done before? (on a Defender)

    What needs to be done with the linkages etc?

    Looks like the panhard mount might be in the way?

  3. The interweb is full of info but I can't find a straight answer.

    Got a 97 Disco V8s (Australian spec)

    Engine is going in a 99 Defender.

    Disco has the 2 button remote, green box in left foot well.

    I am going to  unpick the loom removing all unnecessary carp.

    I want to do this while it is all still in the Disco so I can prove it all works before I swap.

    So, what can I cut/chop from the Disco loom to get the ECU to be stand alone.

    Don't want to add bridging wires etc, just eliminate all the immobilizer stuff.

    Might Megasquirt in the future (FF)  ;) but for now just want stand alone 14CUX.
