I have asked Tim (TJ101) if he would like to pick up the reigns
as it appears there are people who want to enter from the same forum/club
rather than end up in a disjointed effort of what was meant to be another fun event (as the last one was)
it may be simpler for someone else to deal with the arrangements.
then teams can be entered from the same club/forum etc.
The bottom line was 30 cars total so 5x6 or 6x5 was the only way I could meet the criteria.
Evening Tony,, been out most of the day, and just replied to your mail
Regret the planned weekend clashed for me with the Royal Torbay Regatta, which is a great shame,, but will be racing instead
I am sure is will not be a "disjointed" effort, as 4x4 Adventures will undoubtedly put one another superb fun event
-
OK,, you posted as i was one finger typing
6 Teams of 5 vehicles
Bank Holiday weekend (29/30th August)
Camping ??
Organiser ??
Venue(s) ??
-
6 cars per team
1 to be standard class
one team per club
these are the working guide lines Tim, if we can't get six teams then it can run with 5
As no one is running it as yet I'm trying to get it pulled together as a package to try to get intreset a party to run the event
Also, i see you have now changed it to 5 cars per team but above you say 6
Am sure we can get 6 teams,, already 4 listed
-
Jase the guide lines is one team per club so
Team Agrovate will have to be set aside until no one else asks to enter
Tony,, where are these guidelines please
Team Agrovate, i believe will have a different club name,, come the day
-
Teams to include one standard car as per the description of Standard in the adventure4x4* rules, one team per club.
1.LR4x4.com
1-white90
2-Dirty Diesel Reserved subjest to date/vehicle
3-Roguevogue Reserved subject to date
4-
5-
6-standard level entrant required
*Adventure4x4 are not responsible for this in any I am just using the rules they use.
Tony,, only a couple of points,, earlier, it was stated 5 vehicles per team !! not 6 ???
also don't think its been decided that its only one team per club ??
-
At the last interclub each team was asked to layout a set amount of punches and supply marshals If this happened it wouldn't be down to one club
Now, that would help some people
-
I have added an Innovate team Tim and deleted your triple posts(forum issue, that is being addressed)
Thanks Tony,, out of interest,, that first post was sent, a few minuets after your, 20.10 ish,, took near 20 Min's !!!
Small point,, are clubs limited to one team ???
-
Fair point of view Tim
Will Innovate be entering a team?
Tony,, am sure Innovate 4x4 could scratch together a few off roads types to enter !! subject to date / venue
Some merit in trying to used one of James 2-Dayer dates , but feel he wants to enter, so the only chance of competing this year
PS,, is it me, or is this forum slow again !!!
-
Personally think, at least one must be in Standard or +1 , hopefully that will help to keep it a "fun" event
-
Silly question.... but I always thought (not having owned a pair of these) that they were plated, but in Tim's pics they look painted... which is it?
Ta!
As smo says,, painted , the ones thay have replaced FOC ,,were plated !!

-
My replacement set is due tomorrow,,

Will let you know,,if i don't see them
-
As per elsewhere Neil
What's the cost of a winch sail now, ?? £20-£25 ??,,
so would think, for something as described that worked £25-£35 ??
-
