  1. just looked on the wiring diagram for this, and sure enough, the oil warning light is connected to the fuel pump isolation relay via the white/brown cable, and that also goes to the voltage transformer module (if fitted) so i guess that explains why it clicks and flashes at the same time. CURLY
  2. they only come on and flash/flicker when its been on a long run by the way.. incase that means anything else.. CURLY
  3. handbrake cable is fine, no hot spots, or fires to my knowledge! number 2 relay clicks on and off with revs as the oil and battery light flash together. all clicking and flashing is in rythm.. am i right in thinking that i dont actually need relay number 2? the fuel pump isolation one? why on earth would that be clicking with the oil and bat lights? CURLY
  4. another stupid question.. but relay number 3, the brake check relay, what does that do? cos my brake lights still work even if its unplugged.. and when i put my hazards on, the picture of a trailer on the dash flashes instead of the indicator light.. any ideas? Cheers, CURLY
  5. oh yes.. duuuuur simples!! thanks for your help.
  6. update.. out of the 5, starting on the left: 1: dunno, but clicks on with the ignition, 2: dunno, but clicks on with the ignition, 3: does nothing as far as i can tell.. 4: starter 5: headlights thats as far as i can get.. CURLY
  7. the indecator relay is tucked up behind the fuses, so i guess the original one could have died and been left there.. thats another one down! starter relay? i'll see which one clicks when i turn the key, thats 3! didnt think there was one for the flash, but i will double check..
  8. in my 1989 110 2.5 td, i have got 5 relays under where the fuses go. i have identified one of them being the headlight relay, but cant work out what the other 4 are for! i have removed the rear wash wipe, and the rear heated window, so assuming one of them will be for that, but which one? also, on tick over, my charge and oil light flick on and off with the revs, and one of the relays click as they flash.. just wanted to go through the wiring and figure out whats what, and where i could steal power from for my new mud switch panel.. thanks in advance, CURLY P.S i did a search, but couldn't find what i was looking for..
  9. i was told that i have citreon BX seats in mine. they are really comfortable, and the bases come out for battery access. just had a quick look, and it doesn't look like they have had any welding done to them either. looks like they have just been bolted in. only thing with them i'd say is that you cant tilt them forward to get to the rear bulkhead where the jack and stuff is. not sure if the BX seats are the same as the AX seats either i'm affraid. HTH CURLY

  12. its got a 2" lift kit on it at the moment, but i dont mind lowering it a bit if it means a comfeyer ride. might stick some rangie rear springs on it cos i've got some! see how that goes.. CURLY
  13. my 110 is so rough to ride in, it feels like the suspension is solid! do they do softer ride springs for them, or can i use rangie springs, or something like that? i'm not going to be carrying anything heavy in it, apart from me! CURLY
  14. hello! i've got loads of wires crimped to other wires and wires doing nothing on my 110, and was wondering if anyone had a wiring diagram, or knew where i could get one from, cos its driving me nuts!! EG: my rear fog light doesn't work, and i cant find the colour of the wire, cos its under the tank, tucked away! and its just red and black in the fog light itself, but there's no red and black in the wiring behind the lights in the back! plus there's loads and loads of other electrical spaghetti everywhere to do.. HELP!! CURLY
  15. i bought a pozy-4 screwdriver bit from a local tool shop that fit like a glove. all 8 of the screws undid with a bit of elbow grease, but looks like i was one of the lucky ones! HTH CURLY

  17. I have blue smoke on start up, but it clears within a mile and then it runs clean. I thought it could be the valve stem seals maybe? Didn't want to take the head off, so was wondering if you can change them with the head on? Cheers, CURLY
  18. as above really. i have a 110 van, and wanted to kit it out, or ply line it, or something, and just wanted some inspiration to get my brain thinking! photo's of yours would be good, or ideas? Cheers, CURLY
