Hi all, just to remind you that the "Early Bird" discounted entry rate ends at midnight on Friday, so get your entries in to save a tenner! This also enables us to set out the punches/sections according to the level of entrants that we know are coming.
As we're no longer with MSA we have been able to re-introduce day membership, this will cost an additional £10 & covers both the driver & crew!
Also, please can anyone that is coming and can lend a hand with the marshalling let me know?
Thanks again for your assistance with this guys, I have now checked out as much as I can without removing the A/C duct unit from under the dash. Seems like it's either the blower motor, relay or associated wiring, both of which are hidden behind the duct assembly, so I will need to get the system emptied next week before I can go any further.
Thanks for that chaps, yest it is the type that makes your knees cold!
I should have also asked if the blower will work with the ignition on, but without the enginge running - it's a long story, but I cannot currently start the enginge!
I have a 2002 Defender 90 with air conditioning, but the blower on the cooling pack has ceased to function, though the compressor clutch seems to engage ok. Not sure if its due to a lack of pressure in the system or just an electrical fault! If you have a similar vehicle, please could you confirm whether the compressor needs to be functioning before the blower will work or not?
Thanks!
