  2. Hi all, just to remind you that the "Early Bird" discounted entry rate ends at midnight on Friday, so get your entries in to save a tenner! This also enables us to set out the punches/sections according to the level of entrants that we know are coming. As we're no longer with MSA we have been able to re-introduce day membership, this will cost an additional £10 & covers both the driver & crew! Also, please can anyone that is coming and can lend a hand with the marshalling let me know?
  3. Thanks again for your assistance with this guys, I have now checked out as much as I can without removing the A/C duct unit from under the dash. Seems like it's either the blower motor, relay or associated wiring, both of which are hidden behind the duct assembly, so I will need to get the system emptied next week before I can go any further.
  4. There's no reason that you couldn't put tubes in BFG ATs, as long as they're not "too" low profile - 75/80/85 series should be fine.
  5. Andy, do you know that for a fact/from experience?
  6. Thanks for that chaps, yest it is the type that makes your knees cold! I should have also asked if the blower will work with the ignition on, but without the enginge running - it's a long story, but I cannot currently start the enginge!
  7. I have a 2002 Defender 90 with air conditioning, but the blower on the cooling pack has ceased to function, though the compressor clutch seems to engage ok. Not sure if its due to a lack of pressure in the system or just an electrical fault! If you have a similar vehicle, please could you confirm whether the compressor needs to be functioning before the blower will work or not? Thanks!
  8. Current entry list is: Paul Radford Chris Wildman Barrie Reynolds Mark Balsdon James Alford Graeme Lake Keith Hayes Andy Baker David Webber Chris Kurniak James Trembath
  9. Still not finished sorting it? Mind you haven't done anything to mine since the De-Cider! After this event there is only one more CSW event before Christmas!
  10. Look forward to seeing you there then James, you coming too Jase??
  11. The next CSW event will be held on the 25th of October at: Borcombe Farm Colyton, Nr Seaton Devon SY199919 N 50.72118 W 3.13573 See here: http://www.bdcc.co.uk/XMarksTheSpot.htm?g=SY1992891906&t=SY1992891906 I have been asked by the landowner to ensure that everbody approaches the coordinates from the lanes, not via the farm/farmyard. Please oblige!! Scruitineering will start at 9.00am and close at 9.45. Driver's briefing will be at 9.45, followed bt the start at 10.00. To give you a rough idea, the finish is likely to be 4.00 or 4.30, but will not be later than 5.00. Entries are open here: http://www.challenge-south-west.co.uk/Online_Entry_form/Entry%20form%20page.htm - see you all there!!
  12. Just waiting on the form from my final member & we shall have a CSW team!
  13. We are currently sorted, thanks - as long as the remaing members get their forms and cheques to me shortly! If they fail, I will let you know!
  14. No, 'cause we're we're strugling to make 5!! Mind you, looking at the list of your team's members, I wouldn't mind joining it too!!
  15. As Ciderman has said, we are looking for one or two competitive modified vehicles to join a potential CSW team, we can make 4 vehicles if Derek drives his own vehicle instead of crewing for me - which has been a regular occurance lately!! If Derek drives his own vehicle, that will leave us both in need of an experienced bitch - any takers?
  16. Yea, Paul's in, also had a couple more so just 2 spaces left!
  17. The T shirts will, hopefully, be available at the Borcombe Farm event, but Frank neglected to answer the membership cards question - have asked again! Have you received your card yet James?
  18. Post, what's post? Haven't heard from Rick that's it's arrived yet - hope it doesn't take too much longer as there are now only 4 confirmed places left! I received my membership card today so I hope that they will all be out soon, I have asked Frank what the score is & also about the Ts.
