  1. I take it you have checked the fluid level. The clutch release arm is prone to failure, this happened to me and very annoying as the engine and box have to be split if its gone. If the fluid level is ok i would drop the slave cylinder off and take a look. You can leave the hose connected and care needs to be taken not to dislodge the push bar inside as it can be a pain to put back on. If you do a search for clutch relase arm or fork im sure you will find some pictures.
  2. These are used on access platform for engine stops and throtle. Try these people,http://www.ipspartsonline.com/Default.aspx?tabid=381 i know they do 12 volt units, but not sure about 24v. I know we got one of these for a job at work (unfortunatly carnt remember where from) but i know it was about £90 You could also try these people. http://www.bowersautomotive.co.uk/
  3. I see you are in staffordshire, if you are anywhere near stafford, strip the ram and take them to gpt seals / engineering on i think Goal Road. They stock quite a few kits and can even get custom seals made at competative prices.
  4. Try speaking to these people http://www.erentek.co.uk/conv-kits.htm, they do full kits and indevidual parts. They do a valve that you connect to you hydraulic brake line and it then gives a proportional air output. Its very similar to a standard truck air brake relay valve, just that the pilot is hydraulic and not air.I think from memory they were £150 ish, but might be wrong. There is also a company called trac air that do similar systems, but i found these less helpfull.
  5. Hi all. I have been reading through the posts on hydro steer and has anybody come across the hydraulic steering on a Zetor tractor? This has its own belt driven hyd pump, res, ram, etc, but there is no orbital unit on the steering wheel, it uses a conventional steering type arm and some how assists the steering in the dirction required!(dont ask me how it works) As i understand it this would sort out the legal issue of the mechanical link, but dont know how it would perform on the road? I have driven one of these tractors and it did seem a little notchy on the steering, but it was an old tractor! However my thoughts were that if you fitted this system using an airconditioning pump clutch on the hyd pump, and had the ram on quick release couplings, the unit could be simply switched off and removed for road use. I found this quick link of a system http://www.powersteeringkit.com/zetor.html
  6. Hi all, have been looking through the posts on here for some time, but this is is my first post. I am after some advice please on Nissan patrol axles. I have just agreed to purchase a set of nissan patrol GU Y61 axles from a local breakers, to fit under the 90, they are from a 98 2.8 td. I understand these to be one of the stronger of the nissan axles, but not been familiar with patrols, how do i ensure they are the GU y61 axles? Any part no's or distinctive feature to look for? Any help would be much appricated before i part with my hard earned cash! Thanks Jim
