  1. Helo all, today I bought a 1993 Discovery for spare parts for my Land Rover 90, I was wanting the axels to convert the 90 to disc brakes, anyway when I got the Disco home I found it has a good engine as well, this made me think I might put this in my 90, at present it has a Isuzu 2.8 but a 300TDI is tempting. My questune is how do you tell a 200TDI from a 300 TDI, the engine in the Discovery has a cover over the rocker cover and inlet maifold but I was wondering if there were other distingushing features as someone may have just fitted this, if it's a 300 TDI it may be worth swaping for the Isuzu if it's a 200 I will need to think more carefully, the whole dicovery cost £200 so I may just sell parts to try and get some mony back. Regards, Ronnie.
  2. Hi, could someone tell me if you can fit a Land Rover 110 Brake Master Cylinder to a Land Rover 90, Mine is playing up and I need to replace it. The reason I ask is Iam not sure whats fitted at present My Land Rover is a 1984 and who knows whats been done to it in all these years, Thanks. Regards, Ronnie.
  3. Hi, when I bought my 1984 90 it had discovery alloys, thay fitted the rear without any trouble, but the front fouled the bolts for the drive flange, the previous owner ground the heads of the bolts at an angle (so now a socket or spanner will not fit) and also took his grinder to the front wheels to make them fit. I bought a set of silver modulars and thay look very good, quite a reasonable price to. Regards, Ronnie.
