hi all need some expert help ! brought a 300 tdi 1998 on an s plate ,sold to me as a 50th anniversary model as a sde ! anyone know what this is ,no split air con electric seats or sunroofs but does have full leather . its very clean , paid £4500 any opinions . thanks guys

spend a fortune on my 90 n/a ! engine rebuild injectors etc can get 75 mph much better mpg , not the fastest 90 around but its reliable gets me off road & is used everyday ! do you really need a td or 200 if your spending most of your time off road ?

keep hearing horror storys about the td , most people say keep away but talking to mechanics they seem to think that they are ok !!!! somewhat confused !its a lot of money if things go wrong

cant afford a tdi ! was going to replace rings head gasket etc on my n/a as its been reliable so far but got offerd the td for the same cost !

its the hassle ,if its only £45 why steal it ? whats next wheels stereo ( now soaking wet & only 2 months old ) or maybe the car !! i earn **** money and cant afford this **** . my first sunday off in months so i can go off road and i couldnt go might get to go in january , nice eh

thanks for that , didnt think it was a good idea! next question how do i set the heater to work better ? needs a good clean but havent worked out how to take it apart yet ,not much time to do it either!

[no its a cap that fits over the filer cap that you have to remov before filling up , driver at work filled up diesoil with uleaded (doh)

in one of the recent mags there was a filler cap cover in the new products section , can anyone remeber which mag or company etc many thanks

while were on the subject can anyone tell me where i can get an inline thermostate for my 2.5 n/a diesoil as i cant get one anywhere , motor factors want model no etc , thanks

hi , have a problem i hope you can help with. i seem to have oil coming through the injectors on the mating faces ! alougth cant be 100% sure . is this a sign of something more serious !!
